The Men Who Taught Us To Work, Not Whine

Every family has one, although it may not always look the same.
Maybe it was your dad. A stepdad. Maybe a grandfather, uncle, coach, friend or mentor.
The man who didn't give many speeches, but somehow taught you everything you needed to know.
In a world full of shortcuts and excuses, they taught us that responsibility matters. Your word matters. And a firm handshake and eye contact, matters.
Looking back, some of the greatest lessons weren't delivered around a kitchen table. They were learned from watching calloused hands, long days, and meaningful conversations while fishing.
This Father's Day, we're grateful for the men who taught us those lessons, no matter how many times it was repeated because you were too stubborn to learn the first go around.
The men who taught us to work, not whine.
And we're better because of it.
