Our Why - From Monster Trucks to BUILT ROWDY

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s that the road isn’t always straight - or smooth. Mine sure as hell wasn’t.

I spent 5 years turning wrenches and crewing before I ever got my shot behind the wheel. The grind, the late nights, the busted knuckles, not to mention being the ONLY female crew "guy" in Monster Jam- those years taught me grit long before the adrenaline kicked in. After that, I spent 7 years strapped into 10,000 pounds of steel and horsepower as a professional monster truck driver, living wide open and chasing limits most people couldn’t imagine.

These days, life looks a little different. I’ve slowed down, but not by much. I’m still out there turning wrenches, still on the road with my husband and his monster truck TITAN, with our son in tow. I even climb back in the driver’s seat here and there, filling in for friends when the chance comes along. The fire never really leaves—you just learn to carry it in new ways.

That’s exactly where BUILT ROWDY came from.

It wasn’t born out of convenience, it was born out of passion. Out of a need to keep fueling the grit and adrenaline that carried me through my career. Out of a desire to give people like us a brand that feels like home.

Every shirt, every hat, every piece we put out is more than just apparel, it’s a reminder that you don’t have to live quietly. That you don’t have to fit into anyone’s box. That you can carve your own lane and live as loud and bold as you damn well please.

BUILT ROWDY is my next chapter, but it’s not just mine- it’s yours too. For the misfits, the risk-takers, the wide-open souls who chase life with both hands on the wheel.

This is where my story meets yours. And together, we’re just getting started.
